Download the examples
You can download the examples for the book iText in Action
from SourceForge. If you have a Subversion (SVN) client, you can use this command:
svn co https://itext.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/itext/book book
You can also download a (huge)
tarball containing
the complete source code, all the resources and all the libraries that are used, except
for the iText jar, or you can download everything in separate tarballs:
- src: The source code for the examples.
- resources.tar.gz: The resources needed to compile and run the examples: images, databases, PDF files,...
- results: An empty tree for the results. When you run an example, a PDF file will be created somewhere in this directory structure.
- lib.tar.gz: The libraries needed to compile and run the examples (note that the iText.jar is not included).
Don't forget to download the iText.jar!
